You will also need to inform HMRC of your change of address to continue to be eligible to claim certain benefits, such as Child benefit.
If you are moving to a new area register with a new doctor and make arrangements to continue to receive any prescriptions right away.
Find your nearest GP practice online and register in plenty of time, informing your old practice so they can transfer your medical records.

You will need to contact the DVLA to update your licence. You will also need to change your address on your vehicle log book.
Contact your car insurer to update your policy, this is particularly important if your circumstances have changed, such as you now have a driveway.
You may also need to contact your breakdown cover provider, such as the AA, RAC or Green Flag.
Make arrangements for your child’s school in plenty of time, ensuring both their old school and new school know your circumstances.
This way you can ensure a smooth transition and minimise disruption to your child’s schooling.
